THE OFFSPRING OF THE H.E.O
The Hindu Educational Organisation (H.E.O) registered under the Companies Act, earlier known as The Hindu High School Committee has been running The Hindu Higher Secondary School in Triplicane for over 150 years. This educational institution looks back with pride at the dimension of growth it has achieved over the years with excellent teaching faculty and myriad facilities and opportunities provided to the students during their stay in this illustrious school.
The H.E.O. started The Hindu Senior Secondary School in Triplicane, which is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, in 1971 It is a co-educational institution. It has well equipped Science and Maths Laboratories, a Computer Science Lab and a Library. Significant progress has been made since its inception with efficient staff and excellent teaching.
The Hindu Educational Organisation is a non-profit organisation. It has lofty aims and always strives to serve the cause of education by laying stress on the all-round development of the children.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL
To help students develop healthy interpersonal relationship.
To encourage active participation in physical actvity in proportion to their individual ability and capacity by making the school’s facilities available to all pupils and instill a desire for physical fitness.
To create an appreciation of what is worthwhile in literature and arts.
To encourage participation in activities which deepen the students’awareness of their environment and their cultural inheritance which complement their education.
