articipated in the hand writing Competition conducted by Brill India

Ltd and Won the First prize at the National Level and was awarded with a cash award Rs.2.5 lakhs.

participated in the “Knowledge Champ Quiz” conducted by Canara Bank and bagged first prize , winning a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- out of the 200 teams.

secured Bronze medal in 4 x 100mts Free Style Relay in the 36th Sub Junior

Tamil Nadu State Aquatic Championship, which was held at SDAT Aquatic Complex, Velacherry

from 1st to 3rd June 2019.

18th Padma Bhushan Lady Andal Memorial Inter- School Swimming Competition was held at Anna

Swimming pool from 28th to 31st August 2019. She secured Silver medal in 50mts Back Stroke.

District level Anna cycle Race was held at SDAT Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 15th September 2019.

She secured 1st place in the age category U-17 and she was awarded Cup and Certificate

secured Gold Medal in the water polo game in the 36th Sub Junior TamilNadu

State Aquatic Championship, which was held at SDAT Aquatic Complex, Velacherry from 1st to 3rd

June 2019.


District level monthly Swimming Competition was held at SDAT Anna Swimming Pool on 22nd

October 2019. She secured Gold Medal in the 50mts Butterfly event.

CBSE South Zone Swimming Meet was organised by Shree Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Mettupalayam

from 06.10.2019 to 09.10.2019. She bagged Silver Medals in 50mts, 200mts Breaststroke and

Bronze medals in 50mts Butterfly Stroke and 100mts Breaststroke. She was selected for the

National CBSE Swimming Meet.

National CBSE Swimming Meet was held at Gyan Ganga International Academy at Bhopal from

11.11.2019 to 15.11.2019. She bagged Bronze Medal in Aquathlon (500mts Swimming, 3km

Running) event with the completion timing of 20 min 50 sec.

of Tamil Nadu Sri. Banwarilal Purohit.

INSPIRE AWARD

has been selected for the Inspire Award of Rs.10000/- for his Science

Project on “Reuse of Water from Kitchen Sink & Bathroom”.

NATIONAL LEVEL MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION

U.Akshidha , Brindha & Sandeep Madhan of Class XII and Ragurama Sharma of Class X

participated in the National Level Skill Championship organised by IIT, Delhi and won the First Prize. They were awarded with a Trophy and a Cash award of Rs.25,000/-. The First level was conducted in our school during the Skill Development workshop organised by ‘Makeintern’, Alumni of Chennai IIT.

The Students developed an app (Public Utility) that would help senior citizens to monitor their

health and find suitable hospitals in their neighbourhood.

Their app got selected for the final competition which was held at IIT, New Delhi. It is noteworthy to mention that our school was the only CBSE school that participated among the other 12 Global and International Schools, and also the only school from the Southern Region that got qualified to participate at the National Level.

INAUGURATION OF KALVI TV

The Tamil Nadu Government launched ‘Kalvi TV’ in August 2019. This Channel holds a special Guinness Record for being the first exclusive educational channel to be started by the Government.7 Students of our school got the golden opportunity to be a part of this hallmark event. They performed a ‘Mime Show’ titled ‘Maaruvom Matruvom’ on the inaugural function.

SATHIR 10000 – AN OFFICIAL WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation organized an unbelievable event where 10000 Bharatanatyam dancers of various schools of the State performed Bharatanatyam on a single floor titled ‘SATHIR 10000’ at Chennai Gowrivakkam, SIVET College. This extravagant and spectacular

feat was an attempt to set the Guinness Record for a maximum number of people performing the classical dance on a single stage.18 Students of our School both from Primary & Secondary department got the privilege of being a part of this World Record event.
